This Read and Grab game is called the 'thief game' by children. If a player has a word card with matching colour and character, then they can 'grab' the card from another player ... and read it as they add it to their set. The aim is to collect the matching set of five cards.

Read and Grab Box 3 has words with adjacent consonants which are sometimes referred to as 'consonant blends' - Stage 5 in the Little Learners Love Literacy sequence.
