Read, write and draw gives teachers an invaluable resource for children to practise their literacy skills of reading, writing and comprehension independently. Moreover, it is engaging and fun for children. They love drawing - what a fun way of showing their understanding of the word, phrases or sentence focusing on the phonemes/graphemes in Stages Plus 4, 5 & 6.

There are 168 word cards packed in separate boxes, 108 cards, and 108 sentence cards - so lots of choice to provide differentiated activities for the whole class. Stage 6 has cards that focus on individual graphemes - sh, ch, th, ng.

Exploring words with multiple meanings is a vital part of developing children's vocabulary knowledge: Miss Moss is in a traffic jam, Mum has a dab of jam on her roll.

If you are following the recommended Prep curriculum, then Term 3 begins with Stage Plus 4.  It consolidates everything that has been taught in Stages 1 - 4 and builds on teaching two letters, one sound - ll, ss, ff.  Then consonant clusters (blends) in Stage 5.  This is a must have resource for your classroom.
