What we offer:
Our three-day MOE-funded Year 0-3 and Year 4-8 Structured Literacy workshop with Liz Kane Literacy Facilitators will give your teachers an understanding of the Science of Learning, Science of Reading and Structured Literacy.
We support teachers in implementing a structured literacy approach building on what they have already started. This will include teaching phonemic awareness, reading, fluency, spelling, handwriting, vocabulary, writing, and knowledge, as well as administering and understanding the assessments that align with Structured Literacy.

Registering for a MOE-Funded Liz Kane Literacy Workshop – Two-Step Process

The process for registering teachers for one of our Ministry of Education-funded Liz Kane Literacy workshops involves two key steps:
Step One – Apply for MOE Approval
Schools first need to apply for approval from the Ministry of Education. This is the first step in accessing MOE-funded PLD.
🗓 Applications for Cohort 7 (Term 1) open on Monday, October 13 and close Friday, October 31.
We strongly recommend including your Senior Leadership Team in the application so that everyone develops a shared understanding of Structured Literacy and the Science of Learning.
